Enhancing your life through Therapeutic touch
I believe with all my heart that my work starts with listening to you and your body first. To help you with your journey, I need to know what I can help you with.
I am passionate about the work I do. Birthwork and Massage represent growth to me. In each case I am holding space for you. Education is another way to help people grow and develope. My work IS my life.
I began my education into healing over 30 years ago. As time progressed I began to find my way towards this healing path. I started birth work as a Prenatal Therapists over 15 years ago; and added to that by becoming a Doula. Part of my development allowed me to work as an educator for almost 20 years.
A doula is a professional trained in childbirth who provides emotional, physical, and educational support to a mother who is expecting, is experiencing labor, or has recently given birth. The doula’s purpose is to help women have a safe, memorable, and empowering birthing experience.
Most often the term doula refers to the birth doula, or labor support companion. However, there are also antepartum doulas and postpartum doulas. This is a labor doula training. Doulas can also be referred to as labor companions, labor support specialists, labor support professionals, birth assistants, or labor assistants.

Also called a "wandering womb," a prolapsed or tipped uterus can be corrected by abdominal massage. This external, noninvasive massage strengthens the ligaments and muscles that support the uterus and ovaries. It can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few months to get the uterus to slide back into place. This can be done for fertility and/or recovery from birth. The consult and session are usually no more than an hour.
Mom must be out of 1st trimester or 13 weeks or more. Massage may be received through out the rest of pregnancy and is performed side lined with pillows. Post natal mom can resume traditional position or use pillows for abdominal comfort.
An initial meeting with Mom to be is done to see the needs of the family and expectations for birth. Pricing and packages usually include some massage sessions. Packages depend on the needs and wants of the family. ** see packages for pricing**
During this crisis we are unable to provide massage services. Doula services are being provided virtually. Provide someone with the gift of rebalancing and health. Emails will be sent once we know we can return to work. Be well. And be kind to each Other.
Your placenta is an incredible organ that nourished your baby during her time in utero. So instead of wasting those valuable nutrients by throwing the placenta away after baby is born, doesn’t it make more sense to put them back into your body? She is loaded with vitamins and minerals like B6, B12, Iron, estrogen and progesterone.
It is said that during closing the bones ceremony, the spirit is called back into the body and the ritual encourages balance, healing and harmony In the body. Cultures all around the world have worn their babies through the toddler stage for as long as they have been able to record. Baby wearing promotes core development, fosters and continues the bonding that skin to skin provides. It also gives that feeling of security that a swaddle provides. Images of women in Africa, Asia and Most Latin countries can be found. Babies are secure and tend To cry less. Can be taught as a group or individually.
Massage promotes calmness, can soothe upset stomachs, help ease a restless baby, and promotes circulation and nerve connectivity as baby grows and develops. A series of 3 1hour classes.
Our CEU class size is a maximum of 10 Doulas. Ideally an even number will make the hands on practical side of the class balanced. As a Prenatal Massage Therapist, I have a unique understanding of the effects of massage for moms-to-be. My intent is to help bring new tools to your tool bag, and to make the massage you bring both easy for you to use and share with birth partners.
